Hello
my name is Darren and I guess you want to know a bit about me?
Well I’ve been playing guitar
almost ten years now and some would say its taken over my life!!!
I have been teaching now for
almost 3 years and with a steady flow of students its nice to see them progress
and move onto there own bands/projects and even join me on stage on occasions.
Over the past few years I
have been involved in lots of different projects and worked with various
different styles of bands from Indie and rock ‘n’ roll, to Celtic as well as
simple duo settings.
I’ve also spent some time
with the local drum school to show them what real musicians are!! And help some
of the players get used to working in a band setting.
Away from guitar I also work
as a sound technician/engineer and was lucky enough once to work for Gary
Husband of Level 42 amongst others.
